St. Michael’s Hospital

is an academic healthcare provider, affiliated with the University of Toronto. It is a major tertiary and quaternary referral centre with over 550 inpatient beds, extensive outpatient clinics, and is downtown Toronto’s designated trauma centre for adults. It provides internationally recognized care in the following areas of specialization: inner city health, heart and vascular disease, diabetes care, laparoscopic surgery, neurology or musculoskeletal trauma, and neurosurgery.
